General Information

To their owners, cats are wonderful companions and bring huge pleasure to their lives. For non-cat owners however, cats are often anything but wonderful and can become the most hated sight in their garden as they dig up flower and vegetable beds, use them as a toilet, and kill the wild birds which come to their gardens to feed and nest.

Cat owners should also remember that if they had a dog and this entered their neighbour’s garden (let alone then dug up their flower beds and used them as a toilet) the neighbour would no doubt have something to say! So we need to accept that not everyone loves cats and measures need to be taken to keep them out of the gardens for those that don’t.
