Supplied in packs of four, the unobtrusive brown rods are moulded from plastic that is impregnated with citronella - a smell that cats detest but humans find pleasant. Within the full-colour, strongly branded gift box is a resealable inner that gives the repeller rods an indefinite shelf life. Simple instructions on the reverse of the carton explain how to use the repeller rods to full advantage. Once installed in an indoor plant pot or outdoors near flowers or vegetables, the rods will last for up to ten weeks.
